Complete the Quran, one day at a time.
Qurb guides you verse by verse from Al-Fatihah to An-Nas, and keeps your distracting apps locked until today's reading is done.
- Free guided reading
- No ads, no account
- For iPhone
On track, insha'Allah
You start the Quran with the best intentions.
Then the feeds win, and your bookmark stops moving.
The problem isn't intention, it's distraction. Qurb shows you the way to the last verse, and keeps the distractions out of it until today's reading is done.
Every verse, from Al-Fatihah to An-Nas
Qurb remembers every verse you read. Home shows how far you've come, which juz you're in and the day you're on track to finish, insha'Allah. Skipped a few? Qurb helps you catch up.
And when you read the last verse, Qurb celebrates with you, with a look back at your journey to share.
All of this is free, with no ads. Not sure what daily goal to set? The planner shows when each amount gets you to the end.

Guidance gets you started. The lock is what keeps you going on the days motivation runs low.
-
Step 1Set your daily goal
Pick how much you want to read each day, a few verses, a page, a juz, or any amount you choose, and the time you want to read.
- A few verses, a page, a juz, or any amount
- The time of day you want to read
- The apps to lock, like TikTok, Instagram or YouTube
-
Step 2Your distractions wait
At your reading time, the apps you chose stay locked. Not for 30 seconds, not for one verse. Until your goal is done.
- Locked with Apple's Screen Time
- No 30-second skip, no one-verse shortcut
- Qurb never sees which apps you chose
-
Step 3Read, then carry on
Finish today's verses and your apps open straight away. Your streak grows, and you're one step further through the Quran.
- Apps open the moment today's verses are read
- Your streak grows, day by day
- One step further from Al-Fatihah to An-Nas
Everything you need, nothing to distract you

Questions, answered
Is Qurb free?
Yes. Everything except app locking is free: the Quran reader with translations, transliteration, audio and offline reading, plus your daily goal, streaks, reminders and guided progress through the whole Quran. There are no ads. App locking is part of Qurb Premium. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Prices are shown in the App Store for your country.
How does the app locking work?
Qurb uses Apple's Screen Time to lock the apps you pick, such as TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. They lock at your reading time and open again the moment today's verses are read. Apple keeps your list on your device; Qurb never sees which apps you chose.
Is Qurb on Android?
Not yet. App locking uses Apple's Screen Time, so it's iPhone only for now.
Can I use Qurb to read the whole Quran?
Yes. Qurb tracks every verse you read, shows on Home how far you've come, and celebrates with you when you've read all 6,236 verses. Use the completion planner to see what daily goal fits your timeline.
Is Qurb good for Ramadan?
Ramadan is a great time to start. Set a daily goal that completes the Quran in the month, or a smaller one you can keep long after. See Ramadan with Qurb for plans.
Do I need an account? What data do you collect?
No account is needed. Your reading progress is saved on your device. To improve the app we use analytics (PostHog), linked to a random ID rather than your name, email or Apple ID. We never see which apps you lock, we never sell your data, and there's no advertising. The privacy policy lists exactly what's collected.
Quran first, then the world
Set your goal tonight. Tomorrow, read before you scroll.
